CHANGING PATHS WITH CHILDREN

A class for families experiencing divorce or custody issues

This video/discussion-based curriculum will help you understand the needs of your children during this time of transition and guide you in focusing clearly upon your childrens’ best interests.

 

Curriculum includes:

  • The effects of divorce on men and women
  • What your child is learning from you
  • Developmental stages of children
  • The child’s psychological reaction to divorce or parental separation
  • How to avoid communication parenting mistakes
  • How to keep your children “out of the middle”
  • How to tell if your child is in trouble
  • The art of cooperative parenting
  • Developing a parenting plan

 

This class meets the requirements of the District Court of Lancaster County and has been approved by the State Court Administrator as outlined in Nebraska LB554 (January 2008).
